Thief of Glory

Based upon the Christy winning novel of the same name, and inspired by the true story of the screenwriter's grandfather. Under the Japanese Imperialist invasion of Indonesia during World War II, a young Dutch boy and his family are taken to an inhospitable internment camp built to house Dutch colonists. Under constant threat of starvation, disease, and torture, the young Dutch boy must do the unthinkable to save his family.
