Ice Mountain documentary - IN DEVELOPMENT
Only accessible by a nine hour drive from Whitehorse, YT (and a two hour helicopter ride), British Columbia's Edziza 'Ice' Mountain is the richest source of obsidian in the New World. So rich with perfect obsidian, in fact, that ancient arrow heads and carved knives made from the mountain's obsidian have been found all the way in Europe and down in South America. The ancient world prized this hidden mountain like no other.

- cultural preservation documentary -
in post-production
Canada’s history of colonization and control over indigenous people oppressed their original cultures. This injustice was compounded by residential schools, a horror from the not-so-distant past that many indigenous people still vividly remember. Indigenous children were taken from their homes and torn from their communities at the government’s insistence of a "well rounded education." Instead, these indigenous children had their long hair shaved, their mother tongue smothered out of them, and their sense of identity broken.
The strong and proud Tahltan people of British Columbia are determined to triumph over the past. One leader in the Tahltan community, Verna Vance, is determined to preserve and revitalize Tahltan culture and language for the next generation.
